Zoom In - Use the plus(+) and minus(-) icons on the map

Move Around the Map - Click on the map using the left mouse button and while holding the left mouse button move the mouse

Changing Map base - Click Map for basic map base, Sat for satellite imagery or Ter to view the terrian.

Getting more information - Click on the point on the map

Getting Directions - Click on the point on the map where you want directions to or from. Click on the 'To here' or the 'From Here'.
